Day 1: Departure

Arrival airport transfer to the hotel in Bucharest. Short panoramic sightseeing tour of the center of Bucharest, upon arrival, the 500 year old capital of Romania. Between the two World Wars, the city’s elegant architecture and the high cultural life of its elite gave Bucharest the nickname of “Little Paris”. The city has increased its position as one of the most intriguing tourist destinations with its feverish history, interesting buildings, legends, native restaurants, clubs, shopping centers, malls, streets with charming boutiques, warm atmosphere and welcoming people. Now, the Old Town has been revived and is packed with boutique shops, restaurants, bars, clubs and cafes, beyond the renowned historical sites. Early dinner and overnight in Bucharest.

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel. Half day sightseeing tour of Bucharest is a perfect way to familiarize yourself with the capital of Romania. Stopover in the Revolution Square and in the Constitution Square. The tour includes visits to the Palace of Parliament, Ceausescu’s huge dream, the second largest building in the world, being surpassed only by the Pentagon in Washington, and to the Village and Folk Art Museum – the largest in Europe, containing over 110 houses and old wooden churches and 11,000 objects of folk art, transported from all over the country. Drive by the Romanian Athenaeum, the former Royal Palace, the Town Hall, the Opera House, the Cotroceni Palace, the Military Academy, the University Square and the Arch of Triumph.

Day 3

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning departure to Mamaia, the largest and most beautiful and lively Romanian Black Sea Resort (250 km – about 3 h drive). Mamaia is a perfect choice for those people who love sun bathing on fine sandy beaches or at the Aqua Park, as well for those who enjoy water sports like: swimming, sailing, water skiing, wind surfing, paragliding, water bike, scuba diving. Mamaia and the nearby Constanta city have plenty boutique shops selling traditional souvenirs, cafés and bars. Mamaia’s nightlife provides entertainment on terraces and in the restaurants, bars, pubs and taverns; also, luxurious clubs are open till dawn. Overnight in Mamaia.

Day 4

Breakfast at the hotel. Full day at your disposal for relaxation at the swimming pool, SPA, optional visits or shopping. Overnight in Mamaia.

Day 5

Breakfast at the hotel. Light lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon at leisure for shopping and discovering the many attractions this city has yet to offer. Overnight in Mamaia.

Day 6

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy your morning at the hotel, have lunch and leave Mamaia early afternoon for Bucharest. Overnight in Bucharest.

Day 7

Breakfast at the hotel. A couple of hours morning ride from Bucharest will take you to Sinaia mountain resort, well-known as the “Pearl of the Carpathians”. Situated on the outskirts of this resort city, in a beautiful natural setting, Peles Castle is a masterpiece of German New-Renaissance architecture. Former summer residence of the Royal Family, this spectacular castle, built at the end of the 19th century, is one of Europe’s most beautiful museums displaying priceless collections of weaponry, rugs, furniture, ceramics and sculpture. Lunch in Sinaia area. Optional: If weather allows enjoy a cable car climb to Cota 1400 or to Cota 2000 (1400 m high or 2000 m high above the sea level – about 20-25 Euro/person).Afternoon return to Bucharest for overnight. Farewell dinner with live music at a traditional restaurant.
